{the sever family}

warning: these are some of the most adorable kiddos you have ever seen. signs of "cuteness overload" include: ohhhhh'ing...awwww'ing...and excessive pointing at your computer screen.

the sever family was truly up for anything (i.e. the best kind of clients). i took their photos in november when the colors of autumn were barely holding on...i'm pretty sure the leaves dropped the very next day. i suggested coxhall gardens for a quick family session...good think i said "quick" because i'm pretty sure i could see my breath that day! thankfully, they look great and no one can see how frozen i was! brrr.

mmm nashville. where do i begin? maybe i'm a little impartial because i was born in the great state of tennessee. maybe it's because some of my favorite friends live/have lived there. maybe it's the scenic drives, the landmarks, and the history. needless to say, i was soooo excited when michelle and kaleb (my future brother-in-law) moved south last summer!

on this lazy sunday...where all i can see is a blanket of snow outside ...i am reminded of my deep love for "the athens of the south." the bright colors. the country music (i've been swayed slowly over time). the sweet tea. fido. the parthenon. the country music mini marathon. broadway. i love it all. 

michelle and kaleb had plenty of great ideas, making their engagement session extra fun. (my favorite was visiting the chihuly exhibit at cheekwood botanical garden.) these photos capture the free-spirited nature of this happy couple...embarking on a new adventure in nashville, tennessee. (and who doesn't love a girl in boots!?)
